Back when I could walk…

I can’t do winter. I look at it through windows, I glare at it from under my hood as my hands and feet seize and swell in white and purple agony. It’s a time of not looking outwards, but compulsively gazing inwards. Looking back, not ahead. You’ll see a bit more of what I mean in the next few posts.

But let’s first look back at an unusually warm day in mid-October, filming Kelly Thomas around downtown Newark.

WALK ALONE by KellyGreenLight from Kelly GreenLight on Vimeo.

It is a first draft for a tentative project, but it was a particularly fruitful exercise bridging music, documentation, audio, and movement. Thanks to Kelly for the fabulous guidance, and wonderful day.
