I have always been greatly inspired by the work of the prolific fiber artist Françoise Grossen, but I have never seen her work in person. I feel very lucky to have spent some quality time with her work before this show closes on Saturday.

On display were many works from the 80s including large rope sculptures and a series of small maquettes. Her imagination, craftsmanship, and material sensibility amazes me.
