These are some recent shots I took of the Ursula von Rydingsvard show at Galerie Lelong.  I was so enamored by how she manages to take a singular material – wood – and make it look like something completely different….water, fabric…. that I missed the grid structure underneath until my friend Jess pointed it out to me.  We spent some hilarious moments sputtering and exclaiming at the desk while we were checking out her process as described in the gallery copy monographs.
