I do love adding hand embroidery in my work, but sometimes I need to cover a large area with stitches, and so I turn to my sewing machine. All you need is a special presser foot for your machine, an embroidery hoop and a little know-how and you can draw with thread. This process can be a bit hard to control- and like sewing, the right tension is essential- but once you get the machine in a good groove the process looks like nothing else.
