So I will begin by giving thanks to another day of life, my family and friends and that I can create. I am thankful for the group Neo-Latino Collective, I exhibit with, their founder, the late Raúl Villarreal for entrusting me to curate their woks in FLOW and to Gallery Aferro community for supporting this idea. The opening takes place on Saturday June 25th 6-9 PM along with an exhibition curated by Juno Zago. We pay tribute to Raúl Villarreal by exhibiting his work and we will have a live drawing by artist Nelson Alvarez. I am exited to be able to organize their works and I’m excited to introduce the Neo-Latino Collective with this exhibition, excited for the sharing, the dialogue and the energy of the night.
